heated discussion about Afghani culture
On an online discussion, one of my classmates used an example from an article that she had read about a young Afghani couple who were killed by the girl's parents because they did not approve of their relationship. The article seemed to imply that this extreme behavior is a "natural practice of truth" for Afghani people, or so she thought. Other classmates suggested discussing these "cultural norms" with high school students. The first slide shows my response to the discussion, followed by the student's initial post as well as the other students' responses.

This video was created as part of the Skyepack assignment. My group chose to do a structured workshop about Arabic language and culture. My classmates were very intrigued and appreciated learning about our language and culture.
